Diane Osborne Violinist

For those who live in South Central Florida, Diane has a Violin and Piano Studio in Lake Placid, FL. She has taught violin since she was 15 years old. Violin, of course, is her main instrument, and she teaches beginning through advanced students. She also teaches beginning through intermediate piano students.

In addition to teaching private music lessons, Diane has started and directed youth orchestras, as well as conducted adult orchestras and choirs. In addition to her Violin Solo Ministry, she has also played in community symphony orchestras (currently is Concert Master of the Heartland Symphony Community Orchestra) and church orchestras.

Diane has played her violin for numerous weddings, social events and funerals. Please call her for available dates.

Highlands County Youth String Orchestra

Diane has organized and directs a string orchestra of young players - elementary through teen players. Started in January 2009, it is a delightful group with amazing support from parents. If you are interested in joining, please contact Diane by phone or e-mail. Music teachers are invited to visit our rehearsals held on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 - 5:45 at the Lake Placid Church of the Nazarene.
